Surface Roughness Tester Simulator

How to Perform a Measurement:

  1. Check Drawing Spec: Read the target spec on the sticky note (e.g., Ra ≤ 1.6 µm).
  2. Position Stylus: Use the arrow buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right) to lower the black diamond tip gently onto the top surface of the workpiece.
  3. Run Trace: Press START on the panel. The drive unit will automatically drag the diamond probe across the surface and calculate $Ra$ and $Rz$.
  4. Evaluate Finish: Compare the measured value on the screen with the target spec. Click Good if it meets spec, or Bad if it exceeds roughness limits.
  5. Print Inspection Report: Click PRINT to print out a physical thermal receipt ticket, then click the paper strip to view the detailed inspection report.

⚠️ Warning: Lowering the stylus tip too far down into the block will break the sensitive diamond needle point!
